The Harrisburg Chapter is a local affiliate of the Penn State Alumni Association. Since the founding of the chapter in 1908, we have organized and sponsored many programs that bring fellow Penn Staters together and spread the good will of Penn State to our local area. Not only do we welcome graduates of any Penn State campus, but non-alumni are invited to become members of the Harrisburg Chapter.

Board Meetings

Board Meetings are held held starting at 6:30 the first Monday of every month (Except September when the meeting will be on the second Monday). The meetings are held at Gullifty's in the Cedar Cliff Mall. This is also the location of the T.V. Tailgate parties when kickoff is before late afternoon. Please see the 'Events Page' for the other Tailgate Party locations.

When you come for the board meetings, you might well want to come at 5:30 for the Happy Hours precede the board meetings. There is no obligation to remain for the board meetings.

Earn Chapter Dollars!

The Harrisburg Chapter offers $5 credit coupons to current chapter members who recruit new members. These coupons can be used toward the costs of any chapter-sponsored events (such as the basketball bus trip, cooking class, or golf tournament and banquet).

There is no limit to the number of individuals you can recruit. Penn State alumni as well as Penn State supporters (non-alumni) are welcome to become members of the Harrisburg Chapter. Print out a membership form from the chapter website or contact Don Guss for extra forms. Remember: you must write your name as the "referral" at the top of the membership form and have the new member send in the form along with their dues for you to receive the coupon.
